A great day on on a proper wilderness ride through the Welsh Hills. Shem joined us for the ride up from Mach through the Pennal Forest as he knows the best way through the maze of forest roads there. Dave, John, Pete and myself then continued up into the wind and hail to Tarren Hendre and along the ridge to Tarren Cwm-ffernal and Trum Gelli before heading down the Roman Road to Happy Valley, then back up through the Pennal Forest and down to Mach.
